Mr. Williams is a renowned author and has extensive experience in prison re-entry and innovative employment strategies. He provides workshops and seminars on entrepreneurship, urban economics, placement strategies, workforce development, employment trend analysis, community corrections partnership AB 109/117 implementation plan, and Ban the Box bill AB 218 to nonprofits and government agencies throughout the County of Los Angeles. He holds a B.A. in Law & Society, and a MBA in nonprofit administration with a focus in nonprofit compliance from the American Jewish University.

He works with several homeless service organizations in Los Angeles and has conducted community-based research with homeless adults and the aging in the region. His research interests include improving housing and homeless services delivery systems for homeless adults and understanding how housing and homelessness contribute to the risk and severity of multiple health conditions, such as HIV/AIDS, addictions and food insecurity.
